I had a problem with my Chevy truck that I couldn’t figure out, I was about to bite the bullet and have it towed to the dealer knowing I’d have to bend over and get screwed.
I stumbled over Tim’s ad in Craigslist and gave him a call.
He came right over although he was 10 minutes late and got right to work diagnosing my electrical problem.
Long story short.
he totally repaired my truck in less than an hour, explained what the problem was step by step so that I could understand.
Tim is a complete professional, honest and just plain cool!
The dealer would have probably sold me a fuel pump, Powertrain control module, ECM and a set of tires!
I would recommend Tim to anyone who needs an honest, professional and trustworthy mechanic.

You can tell the depth of automotive knowledge. Tim was honest, straight forward and friendly. His sole intention was to get me back on the road running better than before with the least burden on my wallet. A little bit of an investment but you get what you pay for ten times over.

I was tired of being ripped of from past experience on vehicle repairs. I gave Tim a call he was very helpful and honest with excellent work before during and after replacement of a water pump and fan clutch.
Even followed up with a phone to his customers after the work is done. I would highly recommend you can’t go wrong.

Tired of being ripped off? Use Tim from Auto 1 Diagnostic, Car wont smog? Tim will take you step by step & find your problem & show it to you. He also repairs it with no guessing. The check engine light, ABS and Brake light went on in my vehicle. I called Tim after reading his reviews on yelp. I set up an appointment which he was ten minutes early for (awesome). He came to my work place, diagnosed the vehicle, cleared the dummy light, fixed the problems and was on his way in about an hour. Loved the service and he was real easy to get along with. I would recommend him to anybody. Thanks.

i needed a mechanic that could diagnose & fix my vacuum lines & bring the idle rpm’s down so it could pass my smog test . I called Tim & he came that day & fixed my problems. He even hooked up a 12 volt power plug so i could charge my phone ! He had all the diagnostic equipment to read the engine codes & the know how to do the job right ! He’s a smog certified tech, so he knows what to look for and fix . The smog referee the DMV sent me to misdiagnosed my engine, the ref even said that parts were needed that weren’t on my engine ! Tim set me straight. He showed me & answered all my questions. He even took pictures of my engine label & sent me copies so I have the calibrations in case I ever need them. I would highly recommend Tim to anybody that needed an excellent & honest mechanic. Thanks once again!

I own a small company in Salinas and our vehicles are literally the life blood of it. My personal vehicle is a Cummins diesel powered dodge truck. It was having several annoying issues that other local mechanics including the dealership failed to find let alone correct. Tim was recommended to me and he brought to bear his sizable experience and talent. The problems were correctable and in very short order my truck was back to its old self. I was going to just sell the thing at a huge loss but Auto 1 Diagnostic returned it to service with a clean bill of health. I highly recommend this company

Auto 1 Diagnostic fixed two of my older cars and is now working on a newer one. The older ones required some serious diagnostics as it had a problem with the distributor. They understand the electrical and mechanical systems very well. Well worth the money to know that the problems are fixed the first time. I will use again and recommend them.
